Improvisation with Space - with Sigal Bergman This Improvisation class opens up the senses and encourages long and effortless movement. Using our peripheral body parts we will draw a 3D imaginative painting around ourselves, which will gradually grow and become richer and more colorful. The instruction will give direction and inspiration for free individual movement research.Roudolf Laban, a Hungarian choreographer and movement researcher, coined the term kinesphere in order to define an imagined sphere around the body. The size of the Kinesphere is the largest distance we can reach with our different body parts without moving in space. All classes are suitable for people with no previous movement experience and can be enjoyed and explored repeatedly, either sitting or standing.Sigal Bergman has worked in the field of movement and creation for over 20 years as a dancer, choreographer, improvisation teacher and Alexander Method teacher.
